Your Instructor

HI :-)  My name is Jane Browning and I have been training in Martial Arts since 1996. I am a fully qualified TaeKwon-Do and Kickboxing Instructor and currently a Fourth Degree International Black Belt in TaeKwon-Do and a Third degree in Kickboxing.  I have also competed quite successfully in national TKD tournaments and have recently qualified as a tournament Umpire.  As an Instructor I have attended Child Protection Courses, have been Police checked, qualified as an Appointed Person in First Aid, and am also fully insured.

When my TaeKwon-Do Instructor, Master Don Deedigan opened a Kickboxing School in Chippenham I jumped at the chance to increase my Martial Arts knowledge.  I found the classes to be great fun and a fantastic workout.  Many of the punches and kicks are the same or similar to ones I had been doing for many years, but there is a great deal more pad work and the blocking styles and stances are different, and if possible an even greater emphasis on fitness.  I quickly fell in love with Kickboxing and its freer style and decided that I wanted to share my enthusiasm with others. I therefore decided to open a club in my local area and so JB Kickboxing was born.

My day job requires that I am sometimes on 24 hour call out over class times.  There may be an occasion when classes would have to be cancelled at extremely short notice, but this is exceptionally rare (we've been running for nearly three years and it hasn't happened yet) and every effort would be made to find a covering Instructor.
